Curriculum vitae
Francesca Ziveri studied Canto lirico with Liliana Nissolino, Annamaria Favini and Vocal chamber repertoire with Reiko Sanada at Conservatorio “A.Boito” in Parma, graduating with top marks and praise. She got a degree in Modern Literature with the highest honors, apart from being teacher qualified for teaching Italian and Latin Literature in high schools. He has won the first prize at the Concorso Internazionale di Canto Cameristico “A. Seghizzi” in Gorizia, winning also the special prize Bärenreiter for the best performance of German Lied and the second prize at the Concorso Nazionale di Musica Vocale da Camera “Città di Conegliano”, as well as the prize as Best Duo together with the pianist (and husband) Raffaele Cortesi. She has appeared in renowned Festivals of ancient and contemporary music among others Settembre Musica-Torino, Atelier Musicale del XX secolo-Milano, Mittelfest- Cividale del Friuli, Festival Lodoviciano- Viadana, Incontri Musicali Farnesiani e Festival Traiettorie-Parma . She made her debut with the famous Italian actress Ottavia Piccolo in the opera “Tina”by Andrea Centazzo, premiered at the Sala Tripcovich in Trieste, Arena del Sole in Bologna and at Palamostre in Udine. She sang under the baton of Romano Gandolfi among the others, with orchestras as Sinfonica dell’Arena di Verona, Arturo Toscanini dell’Emilia Romagna, I Virtuosi Italiani di Modena, Sinfonica di Sanremo, Lublin Philarmonia Orchestra, Mitropoulos Sinfonietta and Parma Opera Ensemble. She continued her studies with Dalton Baldwin, Elly Ameling, Françoise Ogeas and with Jill Feldman for the Baroque repertoire. She had her debut in the USA with Teatro Verdi in Trieste at the Freud Playhouse in Los Angeles and at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. Since 2015 she is a Singing teacher at the Conservatorio “A.Boito” in Parma.
