TRIENNIO ACCADEMICO DI PRIMO LIVELLO

BACHELOR - FIRST CYCLE IN HIGH EDUCATION - 6th EQF LEVEL

The Triennio Accademico di Primo Livello (Bachelor, First Cycle in Higher Education) has been offered as a special program at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito since A.Y. 2003-2004 and has effectively replaced the Traditional Degree in A.Y 2010-2011.

Admission to a First Cycle Degree Program is subject to the possession of a High School Diploma (Maturità), or a suitable foreign qualification. Graduate Courses have restricted access and applicants must pass an entrance exam to be admitted. Candidates who demonstrate to possess musical knowledge and skills at the level required by their chosen subject will be accepted into the program. Entrance exams requirements for individual degrees are available here.

Bachelor Programs, like University Programs, entail the acquisition of 180 credits. Upon completion of the program, a First Cycle Degree is awarded which is the equivalent of the Laurea Triennale title in terms of pursuing professional careers in the public sector, and which gives access to further academic studies such as Biennio di Secondo Livello (Second Cycle Degree Courses) and Master di I Livello (1st Level Postgraduate Specilization Courses).

The Bachelor Program allows students to partake in external internships as well as in the international student exchange program ERASMUS, while providing access to State sponsored scholarships and grants for students in need of financial aid.
