She obtained the V.O. Degree and the II Level Degree in Opera Singing with top marks at the Cherubini Conservatory in Florence. She was among the winners of the International Competition of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto, the Riccardo Zandonai International Competition in Rovereto and the Luciano Pavarotti International Competition. She has sung in numerous Italian theaters including the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Carlo Felice in Genoa, and abroad: Cologne, Lausanne, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lyon, Brussels, San Francisco, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Seoul. She has sung for the Wexford International Festival in Ireland and Aix-en-Provence in France. Among the conductors with whom she has collaborated are names such as C. Abbado, R. Bonynge, M. De Bernard, M. Benini, C. Rovaris, Lu Ya, S. Bychkov, D. Harding, O. Rudner, I. Karabtcheski. She has also collaborated with directors as P. Brook, L. Ronconi, P. Degli Esposti, M. Martone, D. Abbado, F. Micheli and with artists of international fame including Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Enzo Dara, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Carol Vaness, Anna Netrebko. Her repertoire includes all the major Mozart roles: Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro and Elettra in Idomeneo. She also played Petronilla in La bella verità by N.Piccinni, Gilda in Rigoletto by G. Verdi, Adina in L’Elisir d’amore by G. Donizetti, Lei in La notte di un nevrastenico by Nino Rota, Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto by D. Cimarosa, Parisina in Parisina by G. Donizetti, Elena in Elena da Feltre by S. Mercadante, Agrippina in Agrippina by G.F. Handel, Adalgisa in Norma by V. Bellini, Mimì in La Bohème by G. Puccini, Violetta in La Traviata by G. Verdi, Madama Cortese in Viaggio a Reims by G. Rossini, Elena in Le Congiurate by F. Schubert, Nedda in I Pagliacci by R. Leoncavallo, Alice in Falstaff by G. Verdi. Live recordings of her performances have been published of Elena da Feltre by S. Mercadante, La notte di un nevrastenico by Nino Rota and Le Congiurate by F. Schubert. She was the lead singer of the Opera Off project by director F. Micheli, entitled Da Verdi a Mina, staged in numerous Italian theaters including the Teatro Sociale in Como, the Teatro Pavarotti in Modena, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and at the Festival del Teatro Sferisterio in Macerata. She attended the 1st annual Advanced Course in Artistic Vocology at the University of Bologna in Ravenna, created and organized by Prof. Franco Fussi. Since 2019 she has been a professor of Opera Singing at Italian Conservatories of Music and currently teaches at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma.
