Curriculum vitae:

Francesca Pivetta graduated in piano with top marks and later in harpsichord at the B. Marcello Conservatory of Venice, studying respectively under Massimo Somenzi and Miranda Aureli. She also obtained a high specialization diploma in piano with top marks from the Accademia Musicale di Firenze under the guidance of Pier Narciso Masi, and earned the multiyear Master's diploma in chamber music from the Accademia Pianistica "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola in the class of Pier Narciso Masi and the Altenberg Trio. She trained as a répétiteur at the Cubec Accademia di Belcanto in Modena with pianist Paola Molinari. She began studying piano at the age of seven and, from a young age, won first prizes in national and international competitions, both in solo and chamber music categories, in cities such as Rimini, Cesenatico, Parma, Udine, Arezzo, and Padua. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in numerous vocal and instrumental ensembles (ranging from duo to quintet with strings and winds), covering a repertoire from early to baroque music, within festivals and concert series, always receiving excellent feedback from critics and audiences alike. She has worked as a répétiteur in numerous opera and symphonic productions at the Teatro Regio in Parma, the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, the Teatro Municipale Valli in Reggio Emilia, the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Grande in Brescia, the Sferisterio in Macerata, the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, and the Teatro Comunale in Modena. From 2012 to 2018, she was a coach and accompanist for the singing lessons of soprano Mirella Freni in Modena. She has served as a vocal accompanist at the Conservatories of Music in Udine, Ferrara, and Piacenza, and has taught Piano Accompaniment and Piano Practice at the conservatories of Bari, Parma, Reggio Emilia, and Piacenza. She has been a jury member in the Maria Caniglia International Singing Competition (2020), the Salvatore Licitra Competition (2021 and 2024), the Marmo All'Opera Lyrical Competition in Massa-Carrara (2024), and the Daegu Competition (2024 and 2025). She was Assistant to the Artistic Management at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna during the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Since 2014, she has collaborated with the Teatro Comunale Pavarotti-Freni in Modena, taking on various roles including Assistant to the Artistic Direction, répétiteur, teacher of score reading and musical interpretation, and coordinator of advanced training courses for opera singers. Since June 2024, she has been Casting Manager at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
